So I am just passing the story down from what I heard. Marvin either worked or owned dry cleaner right across the street from Olympia Arena in the late 70s into the 80s in Detroit, where he either helped or worked for the Red Wings and he apparently helped as an emergency goalie, but never actually played for the Red Wings. He practiced with them numerous times against Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsey, etc., and he was a pretty good stand in goalie, helping the Red Wings practice at times This was one of his jerseys that he wore for drop in hockey or what not obviously you can see It has heavy usage to it, but still in great condition with a couple rips.
I did not attempt to wash it and I left it as is the new owner can do what they please with it. I’m not asking much. It’s still a beautiful Jersey none the less
