Customization Terms and Conditions

  2. Consent: By checking the above box, you agree to be emailed by Liberty Bell Jerseys

  3. Scope of Service

    • Liberty Bell Jerseys (“LBJ”) primarily customizes hockey jerseys only.

    • Other garment types are not accepted unless specifically agreed upon in advance.

    • LBJ inspects all customization kits, but design variations may occur depending on manufacturer or year.

    • While LBJ aims for authentic, high-quality results, perfect on-ice or historical accuracy cannot be guaranteed due to differences in equipment, materials, and proprietary manufacturer methods.

  4. Waitlist & Order Process

    • All work is scheduled through a waitlist system.

    • You must receive an invitation email (“It’s your turn!”) before sending your jersey.

    • Once invited, you have five business days to confirm and/or ship your jersey. After that window, your spot may be forfeited or pushed back.

    • This five-business-day window continues to apply to all follow-up communication.

      • If you confirm your spot but then go silent, delay shipping, or stop responding, LBJ may move on to the next customer.

      • If you attempt to resume the project weeks later, you may be required to rejoin the waitlist.

    • LBJ cannot hold spots indefinitely due to workload and limited capacity.

  5. Payment Policies

    • Payment is due once work is completed unless otherwise stated.

    • If payment is not received within 15 calendar days, the order may be canceled and any kit materials re-listed.

    • A rush service is available for $85 per jersey, subject to availability.

  6. Limitations & Project Restrictions

    To keep workloads manageable and avoid unresolvable conflicts, LBJ enforces the following restrictions:

    No Parts-Only Work

    • LBJ will no longer cut, ship, or supply loose:

      • nameplates

      • letters or numbers

      • blank fabric

      • partial materials

      • templates or patterns

    All work must be done on the actual jersey being customized.

    No Third-Party Coordination

    • LBJ does not send materials to Hockey Authentic, EPS, or any other custom shop.

    • LBJ will not collaborate on split projects where multiple vendors each handle pieces of the same job.

    • Projects must be entirely in-house or entirely with another shop.

    No Guaranteed 1:1 On-Ice / EPS / SP Matching

    • LBJ cannot replicate proprietary team/manufacturer construction such as industrial serging, factory bonding, or unreleased fonts.

    • Fonts are limited to LBJ’s existing templates; custom font recreation requests will not be accepted.

    No Midstream Takeovers

    • LBJ will not step into a project already started by another customizer or attempt to “fix,” “match,” or “finish” someone else’s work.

  7. Approvals & Accuracy

    • LBJ sends proofs or photos before stitching when needed or upon request

    • Proof approval means the customer accepts the design, spacing, and font.

    • Minor year-to-year manufacturer font variations are normal and may not be perfectly matchable.

  8. Communication Expectations

    LBJ strives to maintain clear and professional communication.
    To protect work quality and mental health:

    • Excessive or rapid-fire messages may be ignored until the next available work window.

    • Hostile, accusatory, or abusive communication may result in cancellation and refund.

    • LBJ’s communication schedule may vary depending on workload.

  9. Cancellation & Refunds

    • LBJ reserves the right to cancel a project at any time if:

      • communication becomes inappropriate

      • expectations cannot be met

      • the project falls outside LBJ’s capabilities or policies

    • If LBJ cancels the project, a full refund for labor/materials not yet performed will be issued.

    • Refund = Final. Once refunded, LBJ will not:

      • revisit the project

      • provide further guidance

      • supply materials

      • continue any form of involvement

  10. Shipping Policies

    • Customers are responsible for all shipping to and from LBJ unless otherwise arranged.

    • LBJ is not liable for lost or damaged packages once shipped unless insurance coverage is used.

    • Return shipping for reworks or cancellations may be at the customer’s expense.

  11. Policy Changes

    • LBJ may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
      The version posted at the time of your order will govern your project.
