When the Canes announced a new away jersey, I was pretty stoked. The CANES away never felt on-brand to me, and always seemed like a stop-gap so I was excited to see what rolled out. What they came out with was essentially a white rehash of the 2023 Stadium Series. It lacked panache and punch and feels muddy. I previously did a v1.1 version which needed some more tweaks. I added a second layer to the whole kit to be more cohesive with the Canes other jerseys and reworked the kerning on the nameplate. The kit also received a reverse kiss cut treatment to remain lightweight.
The stadium series 2-tone crest didn't work for me on this jersey, so I also created a fully custom crest to add a nice pop to the front and bring the project together.
